Intelligent Insurer reports on all corners of the market 365 days a year—more or less. We pride ourselves on offering a consistent service to our readers through the 12-month cycle. But it is also true that some periods are busier than others.

The conference season, which kicks off in Monte Carlo at the Rendez-Vous de Septembre, represents the start of something of a roller-coaster ride for industry executives and editors alike, as we follow the industry’s meetings from the south of France to the APCIA conference in the US, to Baden-Baden in Germany, and, finally, to Singapore.

It is an intense period for us and the industry. But in that period we do more face-to-face meetings and a lot more networking than in the rest of the year put together. We learn a lot, write a lot and, hopefully, offer the industry insights into the trends and challenges their peers and rivals are facing.
