Bartosz Krakowiak joined Polservice in 2002 and from 2018, he has been on the firm’s Management Board. He is a Polish patent and trademark attorney, European patent attorney and professional representative at the EUIPO.
He specialises in trademark and design prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, unfair competition matters, IP litigation and anticounterfeiting actions. He also participates in patent-related disputes.
Bartosz represents clients, inter alia, before the Polish Patent Office, EUIPO, and administrative, civil and arbitration courts. He collaborates with customs, prosecution and enforcement authorities.

Wojciech Marciniak graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology where he obtained his PhD in chemical sciences in 2005. He completed post-graduate studies at the Industrial Property Law Department of the University of Warsaw and participated in the internships at the EPO in Munich and in the Hague.
In 2008, he joined Polservice and became a member of the firm’s Management Board in 2018. He is a Polish patent and trademark attorney and professional representative at the EUIPO.
He specialises in patent prosecution and litigation in the field of life sciences, such as chemistry, pharmacy, biotech and medicine.

Alicja Zalewska is a senior associate and heads the Warsaw trademarks and design team integrated into the CMS London office.
She has experience in providing advice across the full spectrum of IP rights, and a particular strength in the field of trademarks and designs, with extensive experience in contentious matters.
Zalewska is qualified as an advocate in Poland and has advised and represented in relation to litigation before Polish civil, administrative and criminal courts, and the General Court, as well as in proceedings before EUIPO, WIPO and Polish IPO.
She used to work as an EUIPO examiner and a lawyer at the EUIPO Board of Appeal. Currently she works with the EUIPO as an external expert on various EU trademark projects and was selected as a quality auditor of EUIPO decisions.
