Staying in the Loop

Throughout the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+ there are multiple touchpoints to help you stay well-informed about all the opportunities on the schedule during the five-day virtual event and the three one-day in-person mini-conferences that run alongside it. Muireann Bolger reports on key aspects of the Meeting.

Early Access registration runs through October 1.

Registration

Registration for members and non-members is open now through October 29, at 11:59 pm (EDT). Early Access registration runs through October 1 and offers a discounted registration fee and additional benefits compared to the subsequent registration phase (General Access). If you’re not a member, join today—and access the much-lower member rate for the Annual Meeting.

The virtual portion of the Meeting and each onsite event requires separate registrations. Please note that you must register first for the virtual Meeting before you can register for one or more in-person mini-conferences. Your email confirmation for the virtual Meeting will have the registration link for the mini-conferences.

Educational sessions and Capsule Keynotes are open to all attendees and do not require pre-registration. Sessions, such as the five Idea Exchanges and eight Workshops, that require pre-registration and have limited attendance are noted. So, keep first-come, first-served in mind, and register now!

Launchpad: Starting Point for Your Virtual+ Annual Meeting Experience

To make the most of the event, tune into the session, Launchpad: Starting Point for Your Virtual+ Annual Meeting Experience, on the preview day of the Annual Meeting on Friday, November 12, 10:00 am–11:00 am (EST).

Here, members of INTA’s Young Practitioners Committee and INTA’s Business Development Team will help you navigate this year’s Annual Meeting Virtual + and provide useful tips about effective ways to connect with colleagues throughout the event. A panel discussion will be followed by breakout sessions where you can network and share ideas with other registrants on helpful ways to maximize your experience.

“We have discovered numerous opportunities to rethink how we can continue to serve our members through our educational programming and Business Development opportunities both at our five-day virtual Meeting and our one-day mini-conferences.”
Sheila Francis, INTA’s director, Knowledge & Development

2021 Annual Meeting Virtual Platform

This year, you can get the best of both worlds—virtual and onsite—at the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+. The hybrid Meeting features five days of fully virtual education, Business Development opportunities, Social Networking, and committee meetings, from Monday, November 15, to Friday, November 19.

“The challenge of planning a Virtual + meeting is that we are in a constant state of flux as things change by the minute. While this, not surprisingly, is challenging, we have discovered numerous opportunities to rethink how we can continue to serve our members through our educational programming and Business Development opportunities both at our five-day virtual Meeting and our one-day mini-conferences,” said Sheila Francis, INTA’s director, Knowledge & Development.

“The secret sauce in making all of this happen is an unfettered mind and a strong network of support from colleagues, but most of all an Annual Meeting Project Team that is agile, flexible, and ready to partner with us through all these challenges,” she added.

Nearly 2,000 brand professionals from around the world have already registered for the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+. Represented are about 1,000 organizations from 90 countries. They include dozens of corporates that are sending multiple team members such as BlueCross BlueShield Association, FIFA, GoPro, Inc., John Deere, Starbucks Coffee Company, Uber Technologies, Inc., and more.

The dynamic education sessions, Business Development opportunities, and Social Networking will help you become part of the conversations, collaboration, and cutting-edge developments shaping the direction of the industry and the role of brand practitioners.

In-Person Mini-Conferences

Be part of the “plus” portion of the Annual Meeting Virtual+. This year, INTA’s innovative hybrid Meeting will be enhanced by three one-day in-person events in different regions: in New York, New York, USA, on Tuesday, November 16; in Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday, November 17; and in Los Angeles, California, USA, on Thursday, November 18.

The onsite events will feature educational programming, informal networking opportunities, and, to cap off the day, an INTA-hosted reception—a great opportunity to meet in person and grow your professional knowledge and network.

Brand professionals are making their way to the mini-conferences from all over the world, with participants signed up to date from 33 countries for each event in New York and Berlin, and from 22 countries for the event in Los Angeles.

Due to social distancing requirements, these events will have limited attendance, so secure your spot by registering now.
