Over the past few months, we’ve been inundated with hundreds of votes from our readers. Every year, each category of awards becomes more competitive than before.

Given the highly contested nature of the categories, in most cases we have named two additional Highly Commended companies or individuals who were runners-up.

With the exception of the domicile category, each category includes individual and company awards.

As always, we’ve included individual awards to ensure we recognise the accomplishments of leading individuals working in smaller organisations.

And, for the third year running, we’ve divided the company awards into categories covering the many businesses involved in captive insurance, from captive managers and reinsurance brokers to law firms.

Finally, domiciles across the US continue to receive numerous nominations. Clearly, the bright light of the US for those looking to form or grow their captive refuses to dim.
